The new Moët & Chandon ad campaign features Scarlett Johansson and is photographed by one of the fashion sets favourite photographers, Mert Alas and Marcus Piggott, but don’t let that fool you because it’s actually yawnsville.
It seems alcohol and hotness have turned on us.
Read on.
ScarJo announced, “I am honored to have been chosen as their ambassador and to make history with the brand, as the first celebrity face of champagne.” Really, Scarlett? "Make history"? I’m not entirely sure it’s that earth shattering, is it?
Apparently Scarlett was the obvious choice as the brands ambassador, “because she, like Moët, has a magical story to tell and makes people dream”, said Frédéric Cumenal, President of Moët & Chandon.
Johansson however, chose the role as ambassador based on the qualities it shares with her current life as an actress; “Moët and the movies both tell compelling stories and share authentic emotions with the world.” Yes. She. Actually. Said. Authentic.
It seems Moët is really in depth for a bottle of champagne.
But wait, because the worst part is that the pictures are equally as disappointing as hearing her speak. She was looking crazy hot in the photoshoot with Dita Von Teese for Flaunt Magazine, but it seems things have gone awry.
Champagne glass between toes is ever so seductive. Elegance is very rare.
Lame dress, lame chair. Pool looks swimable.
I’m more excited about the ice bucket.
Why is she holding the cork like that?
Bored.
Her lipstick is a nice colour.
And for the win…
